What is the process for reciprocity?

Only some states require you to pay a reciprocity fee, and the amount may vary depending on the state. To learn more about “How to Apply for Reciprocity,” click here.

Note:

1. Use the Credentia Platform only to apply for reciprocity in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, or South Carolina. For other states, you must contact the pertaining state board (state’s Nurse Aide Registry), as the Credentia Platform does not process reciprocity for other states.
2. Go to the credentia.com website, click on the Find My Exam button to navigate to the state-specific page, select your state from the list, and then scroll down to the state information section to find the state's contact and other information. For more information, see here.
